Circles Speaker Program
Living Green
December 3, 6:15pm
Green design is the art of the designing physical objects and environments with the principles of economic, social and ecological sustainability. It provides a broad range of interconnected design, from small every day objects, to grand buildings, cities and earth landscapes.
Christopher Hawthorne, architecture critic for the Los Angeles Times, and author of The Green House: New Directions in Sustainable Architecture, will discuss the intersection of green design and museum design, drawing on examples from Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Grand Rapids.
All Circles events are by invitation only.
For more information about Circles of Support, please call (602) 307-2004 or circles@phxart.org.
Circles Speaker Program is generously supported by Roberta Aiden and M&I Wealth Management.
