PhxArtKids Days

Participatory art experiences designed for children ages 5 - 12 and their adult companions. PhxArtKids is supported by the Museum's Men's Arts Council and is included with Museum general admission.

Holiday Weekend: Light Rail Opening
December 27-28, 11am – 3pm (both days)

Celebrate the grand opening of the Metro Light Rail with music and transportation-themed activities in our galleries. Listen to Sticks & Tones (Saturday only), travel on a scavenger hunt, origami yourself a vehicle and print up some New Year’s greetings!

For all Members that attended Members Day celebrating PhxArtKids, your puzzle pieces will be on display in the Studios.

Art for the Heart
February 14, Noon – 3pm

This Valentine’s Day, we invite you to join Museum staff and friends to make valentines for our favorite artworks. From gladiators to fireflies, tell us about what inspires you!

Kids of the Realm
April 5, Noon – 3pm

Calling all knights and princesses! Join us for a day of activities inspired by the Middle Ages. Create your own shield, listen to music, explore our latest fashion exhibition and more. Come dressed in your medieval best (just leave your swords and wands at home)!

Families have fun and learn in this interactive gallery, full of activities. Visit its companion resource online at www.phxartkids.org.

KidPacks

Children ages 6 to 10 and their adult companions will enjoy exploring the Museum with this child-size backpack full of activity cards, puzzles, looking activities and other creative challenges that correspond to art in the Museum's collection. KidPacks can be checked out for free in the lobby; a limited number of KidPacks are available.

Audioguide for Families

The bilingual MP3 audioguide to the collection, available free of charge at the Visitors Desk, includes audio stops specially designed for children and families, to keep you entertained and informed. For more information, click here
